A Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Is Coming

Spiky haired hedgehog signs up for the big screen.

Yet again all the punk ass kids of the 80s and 90s (aka you guys) are set to be pleased and or outraged at yet another attempted 21st century revival. Sonic the Hedgehog, the blue hedgehog of all our childhood dreams, is set to super speed his way to the big screen.

Joining the ranks of other ghosts of the past such as Jem & The Holograms, 21 Jump Street and Transformers, it comes as no surprise that some genius somewhere had a long hard think about Sega's $1 billion Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and saw yet another fantastic fad to exploit bring to the broader audience.
Sonic will be joined by his arch nemisis Dr. Eggman, his go-to BFF Tails and his lady friend Amy Rose for the feature film, which will be CG/live action.
As with so many previous adaptations it's our job to sit back, cross our fingers and pray to the Sega god's that they handle this one true to the hedgehog legacy. If an adaptation means one thing people, it means that we get the chance to get all up in that beautiful pretentiousness and either complain about how tainted our beloved blue hedgehog was or bask in the glory of new Sonic material. It's a win-win really. As is this photo of MJ and Sonic, you are most welcome.
