adidas x Stella McCartney SS14

Urban stylised sports.
From Jeremy Scott to Opening Ceremony through to this here lady, Stella McCartney — adidas bring fist-pump-worthy fashion slash sportswear collaborations errytime.

As part of London Fashion Week, the adidas' Stella McCartney SS14 collection was presented atypically: sans runway, pouting and posing. That's not to say it wasn't a spectacle. Sports performances like "aerial yoga, spinning class, run, dance choreography and swimming synchronised shows" played out, and graffiti artist Selon curated the space.

Of the collection, Stella said in a statement "This season I was really inspired by urban landscapes, and the colour tones and dimensions of a skyline. There is a play on contrasts: the Run and Cycling ranges are graphic, while the Studio range has a hint of retro cool. I’m also really proud to offer a collection that incorporates sustainable elements wherever possible: this season not only do we use organic cotton, recycled yarn and the dry dye technology, but we also have made a real effort to reduce on surplus waste."
