'Arrested Development' Is Coming Back (Again!)

Now the story of a wealthy family who lost everything...

The season of revivals, reboots and returns from the dead continues with the news that everyone's favourite surrealist family drama Arrested Development is set to get a 17-episode fifth season.

The news came via executive producer Brian Grazer, who announced in a B.S. Report podcast that the Bluth family would be returning to Netflix for a new season. "We're going to do another 17 episodes. So, stay tuned for Arrested Development," he said, prompting the whole world to have this exact reaction:

Now hold up, naysayers — we know that season 4 wasn't as good as it could have been. And yes, we know that it was frustrating that it focused on one character per episode, rather than having the whole dysfunctional family together in all of their glory. We're hoping that the the cast can get around their scheduling conflicts to be able to film together, because this new season is a beautiful chance to spend some more quality time with the Bluths.

We'll keep you updated as we hear more on Arrested Development season 5.
