Chloe Resort 2012

Jacquelyn Jablonski struts her stuff.

Featuring Jacquelyn Jablonski sauntering down urban streets, Chloe's Resort 2012 collection captures the romantic nonchalance of the French fashion house. With Hannah MacGibbon gone and Clare Waight Keller's runway debut not slated until October, it is a transitional time for the house in more ways than one. In the absence of a leader, the Chloe design team picked up where MacGibbon left off for the interim Resort season. Featuring pussy-blow blouses and wide-legged trousers, this collection is definitely one about reworking house classics.

Shot in true street style spirit, this collection captures the essence of a modern woman in an urban setting. But in true Chloe style - and particularly in the vein of former designer, Hannah MacGibbon - the French fashion house's Resort looks are a nod to the seventies. Jacquelyn Jablonski brings the garments to life in whimsical fashion, while chiffon and pleated silk offer soft femininity, and multi-buckled shoes add edge. Overall, Chloe's Resort 2012 collection harks back to seventies silhouettes, while slouchy tailoring and a shorts suit or two keep the look resolutely modern. This collection is a celebration of all our much-loved Chloe favourites but it will be interesting to see what Clare Waight Keller will have in store for the label when she takes the reins at its helm.
