'Cruel Intentions' Is Getting A TV Series Sequel

You were just a conquest.
Total raunch fest and 1999 curious-teen fav Cruel Intentions is about to be made into a TV series. While it won't feature Sarah Michelle Gellar in her best role ever as Kathryn Merteuil (soz Buffy), or Ryan Phillippe as in-the-end dream guy Sebastian Valmont, the new plot sounds equally messed up.

The series will follow the story of Bash Casey, the son of Sebastian and Annette (Reese Witherspoon). He finds Sebastian's diary and decides to head back to Brighton Preparatory Academy to walk in his father's footsteps/hands via a "world of sex, money, power, and corruption he never could have imagined."

The film's original writer and director, Roger Kumble, is writing the series with the pair behind The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of Cruel Intentions. Get ready to feel sexually timid.
