DFA Host Official Future Music Festival After Parties

Kick on with the record label in Sydney and Melbourne.

Kick on with DFA records at their official Future Music Festival after parties in Sydney and Melbourne. At The Metro in Sydney on Saturday March 10 and Seven Nightclub in Melbourne on Sunday March 11, festival-goers will be able to get a double dose of DFA in one day. There's a whole stage at the festival dedicated to James Murphy's DFA label (presented by local label Future Classic), which will feature the legendary LCD Soundsystem DJs (James and partner Pat Mahoney), Juan MacLean and Benoit & Sergio, all of who will play extended sets at the after parties. Softwar and Slowblow will also play the Sydney after party, while in Melbourne the headline acts will be joined by Tornado Wallace, Andy Frost and Otologic. Tickets to the Sydney after party are $45 and on sale now through Ticketek, while you can get Melbourne tickets for $30 +bf through Moshtix.

If techno is more your thing, Sven Vath will also play an after party at Melbourne's Roxanne Parlour, with fellow German DJ Oliver Huntemann. After thirty years on the decks, Sven has built up a pretty big reputation in the underground electronic scene both for his skills, and also for his trashbag antics:

There's this awesome Sven Vath soundboard which is all the ridiculous things he says over the PA. He's quite the character, so this will surely be a good show. Tickets are on sale now through Moshtix for $25 +bf. Vath is also playing The Metro in Sydney on Friday March 9.
