Dion Lee Line II AW12 Lookbook

Styled by Imogene Barron, modeled by Tallulah Morton.

Dion Lee Line II launched early last year to act as a diffusion to accompany the designer's mainline. The AW12 offering, which marks Line II's third season, has an androgynous pretty-girl tomboy feel as modeled by Tallulah Morton. Imogene Barron lends her styling eye to the lookbook, where combat boots are complimented by hair which is slicked-back and spray-painted silver or adorned with a skull cap. A muted metallic and powdery pink works well with peach, while last summer's baby blue is replaced with bolts of cobalt. There's also the unexpected (but welcomed) addition of a paintbrush-streaked black and white print. Dion Lee's skill set is clearly translated into his diffusion line and this season can be seen through small details which make these garments better-than-basic such as clever little elbow slits, perfect pleats and exposed zips.
