Exclusive: Lazy Oaf SS14 Film & Lookbook

Shot by Gavriel Maynard in Shinjuku.
Hands up who'd rather be wandering around Tokyo than holed up at work right now. *everyone raises hand* Try living vicariously through these guys instead. Oyster contributor Gavriel Maynard, along with videographer James Rees and model April Johnson just went to Tokyo with Lazy Oaf — creating the label's SS14 lookbook and film in Shinjuku. In particular, they hung out in the suburb's famed Robot Restaurant which seems more like a futuristic land of fun and debauchery than a 'restaurant.' We want to go to there.
Lazy Oaf's lookbook explores the land of animatronic dinosaurs and chairs that look like ladies, in a nod to their new collection — consisting of kaleidoscopic graphic prints, cartoon Disney references, daisies, fruit and the signature googly eye the label is known for.
Watch the accompanying video Mayoimashita, meaning 'lost' below and then shop the SS14 collection on Lazy Oaf’s new website from tomorrow. 楽しむ!
