Exclusive: Zoe Kravitz x ASOS

On personal style and shopping Do's and Don'ts.
ASOS Magazine's newest cover star is actor/performer Zoe Kravitz, who's upcoming film Divergent is seeing her following in her parent's (Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet) multi-skilled footsteps. ASOS caught up with the 25-year-old LA native, who's due to star in Mad Max: Fury Road to talk about her colourful personal style, performing and rules of online shopping. Read some highlights below!

On performing:
"I'm always nervous performing, always, I have a shot of whisky! No you just let go, get over it. It's part of the fun. I'm not in a place musically where I'm comfortable. We got lucky when we played New York, it was all friends…whereas London, they didn't know the music, they didn't know me. That was a little scary…"

On personal style:
"In high school, I was very eccentric…trying things out and wearing a lot of weird shit. Now I'm into t-shirts and jeans, dresses and floral prints. White t-shirts are my thing – vintage or ex boyfriends' – love 'em and take their shirts! And I'm really into the 90s thing. Now I get to dress like all the girls who were cool at the time – I'm living out the fantasy I had when I was 13."

On shopping advice:
"Sleep on it. If you can't stop thinking about it, go back and get it. But I'm really bad at that. There are so many things that by the time I'm home, I'm like, I shouldn't have bought that."
