Fashionistas Love Coke!
Coca-Cola goes couture for charity, with Versace, Missoni and more raising money for 2009 Abruzzo earthquake.
The Coca-Cola bottle has had a lot of extreme makeovers in its time, but here's one that doesn't make you think of Karl Largerfeld chugging back the brown stuff in between glasses of sugar-free protein shakes.
Eight Italian women fashion designers have redesigned the Coca-Cola Light bottle to raise money for victims of the 2009 earthquake in the Italian city of Abruzzo. As part of Coca-Cola's "Tribute to Fashion" charity project, the limited-edition bottles were showcased at the Milano Fashion Centre. Stamping fashion's favourite non-alcoholic drink with their own personality and style are Rosella Jardini (Moschino) Donatella Versace, Angela Missoni, Aberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari (Blumarine) and Veronica Etro. Unfortunately Miuccia Prada is apparently too busy dressing video game avatars to be customising Coke, so in lieu of a Prada bottle we'll take Versace's Malibu Barbie-topped one.
