Giorgio Armani Show Notes @ MFW

Sweet desert aliens.
Giorgio Armani, you master of languid, desert chic looks. While the obvious stand-out piece from the luxury label's SS15 presentation in Milan was the shimmering, bejewelled gown that closed the show — something between an Italian take on Rihanna's CFDA gown and the princess look from The Never Ending Story — wasn't the only gasp moment of the collection.
There were python pea coats, Greek Goddess-like floating dresses, cropped trousers, tapered jackets and glistening everything. Read our show notes below!
Time: 10am
Place: Giorgio Armani's HQ Via Borgonone
Delay: Half an hour
Theme: Sand! Natural beauty at it's most refined, gossamer and alien-like. Emphasis on neutral shades with sparkling and diaphanous accents and smattering of python print.
Heard: The clicking of hundreds of cameras, enthusiastically capturing the glitter.
Spotted: Oscar-winning Italian director Paolo Sorrentino opened the show with a short film, Sabbia featuring naked bodies entwined in rope on a beach.
Tasted: Nada
Sat next to: A blogger, obvs.
Best Look: The bare-foot, sparkling Arabian princesses in gold. Swoon!
