Gorillaz Tease New Album With Weird-Ass Instagram Story 'The Book Of A Noodle'

Easy does it.

Loves of ur adolescent lives Gorillaz are officially back. After laying very low for the past few years, the band came out of hiding two weeks ago to chronicle their entire history on social media. And today they've hinted at some fresh new music, dropping a bloody great/weird multimedia story titled The Book of a Noodle. Not worthy.

Gorillaz have been flooding your 'gram feed this morning with pages from The Book of a Noodle, which centres on their fictitious guitarist Noodle (duh). The tale begins "days after the attack on Plastic Beach" — a reference to their 2010 album of the same name — and is accompanied by outta this world artwork by Jamie Hewlett and some ultra ambient elevator tunes.

Without giving away too many ~spoilers~, the story is packed to the rafters with crime, shapeshifting and a sweet burn directed at all the Arcade Fire stans out there. Get about it below.
