Gucci Serves Up Intergalactic Gender-Neutral Goals For FW17

Shiny disco balls.

Gucci went full Gucci at Milan Fashion Week last night with a presentation that took OTT glam to great new heights. Attendees were invited into 'The Alchemist's Garden', a space age setting complete with a giant pyramid, pink plexiglass runway and a rooster weathervane. Illuminati, anyone?

The collection was your usual Gucci affair — a million influences conflated into lush layered looks which featured everything from classical art and brocade to gothic font and studs. There were also a few human disco balls thrown in for good measure.

24-year-old artist and photographer, Coco Capitán, added some #edge to the collection with graffitied t-shirts that read: "Common sense is not that common". True.

The show was Gucci's first fully integrated men's and women's presentation and featured some strong non-binary looks repped by such fashionistas as A$AP Rocky.
