Laneway Sideshows Announced!
Wu Lyf, Feist, M83, plus The Drums + Cults double header.
Laneway sideshows have been announced and we already feel spoilt for choice, (not that we're complaining). Here are all of the acts, so far, doing gigs on the side:
Wu Lyf (above) are playing at the sweaty and always fun Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on February 2 and Sydney's Metro Theatre on February 6.
Anna Calvi (above), the bewitching half-Italian half-Brit who Brian Eno called "the best thing since Patti Smith" is playing in Melbourne at the Corner Hotel on February 3 and in Sydney at the Metro on February 8.
The Drums (above) will be joined by US duo Cults for shows at the Palace Theatre in Melbourne on February 3 and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on February 8.
Cults (above) plus The Drums = superpop madness at the Palace in Melbourne on February 3 and the Enmore in Sydney on February 8.
"One woman orchestra" Glasser (above) is playing at Melbourne's Toff in Town on February 1 and The Standard in Sydney on February 8.
M83 (above) are playing at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on February 3 and at the Metro in Sydney on February 9.
Twin Shadow (above), aka George Lewis Jnr, is doing Melbourne's Corner Hotel on February 1 and Sydney's Oxford Art Factory on February 6.
And Feist (above) is returning to Laneway after four years and will also be playing shows at Melbourne's Palais on February 1 (all ages), the Enmore in Sydney on February 7 (18+) and the Theberton Theatre in Adelaide on February 9 (all ages).
