Watch Lorde's Emotional Performance Of David Bowie's 'Life On Mars?'

Heroes.

Like every single human on the planet, Lorde mourned the death of Davie Bowie hard. She wrote a moving/smart essay on Bowie's death and her own sorrow, highlighting the huge impact he had on her life and work and how he inspired her to be proud of her "spiky strangeness".

Now Lorde has paid tribute to the late legend in the best way possible: with an unannounced performance at the Brit Awards alongside Bowie's own backing band — the performance starts in the video below at about the nine minute mark.

The band kicks things off with a medley of all DB's biggest bangers including 'Let's Dance' and 'Under Pressure', before the Lorde herself appears to give a super emosh rendition of 'Life on Mars?'. A torrent of feelings were felt by all.
