Meet The Model: Ebony @ The Wolves

Chinatown chiller, shot by Renee Carey.
Ebony is the name and singing Ginuwine's 'Pony' in the shopping malls of Western Sydney is her game. We heard about this and other memories when we caught up with Ebony after her shoot with Renee Carey recently. Get to know her below!
Jerico Mandybur: Where are you from and where are you currently living?
My Background is Ghanaian and Australian, but I was born and raised in the Western Suburbs of Sydney.
Earliest childhood memory?

When I was four, I loved the song 'Pony' by Ginuwine. I used to stand on the kitchen table and shake my hips to it. I remember it coming on in a shopping centre and I sang along to it and got in trouble. It never made sense until I got older and re-listened to the lyrics. They're so inappropriate! Hahaha.
Moment that changed your life?

In grade nine I used to hate having curly hair! I wanted to look like everyone else, so I used to straighten it all the time. It got to the point where the ends of my hair were so dead that they stayed straight and it was only when I didn't have my curls anymore that I really, really wanted them. I ended up cutting my hair, re-growing it and now I hardly ever straighten it at all. Doesn't sound very life changing, but the whole process made me realise that being different is actually pretty cool and learning to be, and love, yourself is really important.
Five women you look up to?

The only woman I really look up to is my Mum. She's the strongest person I've ever met and her outlook on people and the world is always so positive.
Best piece of advice you ever received?

To put things into perspective; if something isn't going to matter in a year or even six months then it's probably not worth worrying about.
What would your last meal be?

A 'zen hen' burger from Grill'd with chips, sweet chilli dip and a lemonade

What animal would you like to be reincarnated as?

A sloth haha, what a life!
What rules would you instil if you were Supreme Leader of Earth for one day?

I'd make people forgive and have empathy for one another! And I'd play Simpsons re-runs constantly.
What song do you really wish you'd written and why?

Kid Cudi – 'Immortal' I listen to it whenever I’m nervous or stressed or down and it makes me feel like I can do anything. I think it’d be cool to give people that feeling too.
Best YouTube clip you've ever seen?

It's gotta be a tie between this...
or Kanye's freestyle on Power 106 — I still don't know whether to laugh or cry after watching it.
