Muppet Movie Trailer

If you weren't excited before, you will be now.

The impending release date of The Muppets Movie (November 13 in the US, for those of you who are distinctly out of the Muppet loop) has triggered a surge of nostalgia for happier days, when responsibilities involved ensuring Muppet Treasure Island was being recorded properly. The Muppets is the first theatrical release in 12 years for Miss Piggy and Co, and is consequently inundated with abundant levels of Muppet mania, which Oyster is just as obsessed with as everyone else. All hype aside, all anyone really wants to see in the new movie is Kermit singing his signature song, 'The Rainbow Connection'.

Amongst many reasons, our love for The Muppets is primarily derived from the fact that although they are really just puppets, they manage to accomplish parody better than most humans with opposable thumbs and a poor sense of humour. After seeing this trailer for The Muppets is anything to go by, we're almost positive that Paranormal Activity 3 will be well and truly outshone by The Muppets' version, and that Fozzie Bear looks way better in boots than any cat. In fact, The Muppets are so skilled at parody, they even succeeded in parodying themselves. They really are superior to humans.

To say we're excited would be the understatement of the year.
