Netflix Cancels 'Girlboss', Sophia Amoruso And Internet React Accordingly

Nasty.
Essential viewing platform Netflix has cancelled a bunch of shows. One of them being the very traj Girlboss — the story of Sophia Amoruso's rise from sassy vintage seller to idolised Nasty Gal creator, and then to a fairly loathed human of woman internet.
Other shows cancelled, to actual dismay, are Baz Luhrman's The Get Down and sci-fi hit Sense 8. As for Girlboss, the reactions are mixed. First we hear from Sophia, herself:

"So that Netflix series about my life got canceled," she wrote on Instagram. "While I'm proud of the work we did, I'm looking forward to controlling my narrative from here on out. It was a good show, and I was privileged to work with incredible talent, but living my life as a caricature was hard even if only for two months."

"Yes, I can be difficult," she continued. "No, I'm not a dick. No, someone named Shane never cheated on me. It will be nice to someday tell the story of what's happened in the last few years. Ppl read the headline, not the correction, I've learned."

And the internet? Here:
