Netflix Mystery Drama 'OA' Is Here To Fill That 'Stranger Things' Hole

*'X-Files' theme plays*

Netflix sure know how to create some hype. The streaming service posted the following series of Tweets to promote new Netflix original OA without a trigger warning in sight:

Heavy stuff!

These dark Tweets were followed by an excellent trailer for the show that's full of mysterious mysteries. At the centre of the story is Brit Marling — a formerly blind missing person who's been found and is somehow able to see again. There's also some very Stranger Things shots of a human testing facility along with scenes of a grand old house and some beaut landscapes that leave us wondering what the bloody hell is going on.

The eight episode season debuts on December 16 but you can start unpacking the mysteries right here:Photo: Netflix
