New Balance Creative Diaries

NB547's film diaries: documenting a bevy of creative talent

Launched by New Balance, NB547 is a deliciously self-reflexive project which creatively showcases young Australian creatives by telling their stories through the mediums of film and photography. The project will see the release of a four-part video documentary capturing the essence of five young Australians excelling in their respective fields of creativity. From photographer Raph Rashid - aka the man behind Melbourne's Crookneck recording label and clothing brands Blank and Princess Tina - to Ballarat native and talented musician Vinci Andanar of up-and-coming band Goldfields, New Balance have certainly done their homework and bring us a veritable melting pot of explosive new talent across the creative spectrum. The first two instalments of the NB547 film diaries are now live, and our favourite documents the creative ventures of art director and graphic designer, Tristan Ceddia. Born a Melbournite, but happily adopted by old Sydney town, Ceddia juggles a wide range of projects for a wide range of clients with his multi-disciplinary creative studio, Never Now, and is also the co-founder and Creative Director of online zine, The Blackmail, with writer slash editor extraordinaire, Gabriel Knowles. Currently working on a bevy of projects for ksubi, Ceddia also maintains his position as Club President of Melbourne based art society, The Serps. All about creativity in popular culture, Ceddia aims to bring quality content back to the World Wide Web. Incidentally, New Balance have brought us Tristan via the World Wide Web. So, get involved!
