Our Favourite Joan Rivers Moments

Comedic genius Joan Rivers died last night. What can you say about her? She was a trail-blazer — an icon and an iconoclast, a workaholic and A Piece Of Work (the title of her Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary). She once said, "I succeeded by saying what everyone else is thinking," with some of her best quips including “If the lord wanted women to cook he’d give her aluminium hands” and "People say that money is not the key to happiness, but I always figured if you have enough money you can have a key made".

She threatened to keep comedy going for the next 100 years, stating that “just like herpes, when you least expect it, I will be there.” She was the original fashion police, coining the phrase, “Who are you wearing?” She was the arch nemeses of Miss Piggy. She banged Louis CK (see video below). She was Krusty the Clown's agent. She authored 12 best-selling books, has a star on the walk of fame, was nominated for Emmys, a Grammy and a Tony, and cameoed in every other major film and TV show since ’65.

We aimed to create a ‘Joan’s best moments’ list to commemorate her, but it was too hard, because she was pretty much always on fire. Here are five of our favourite videos anyway:
