Raf Simons dabbled in animalia for Christian Dior FW15, with a collection that was unashamedly fierce, yet feminine. "The idea of animals and an abstraction of their patterns became key," Simons said — think oversized zebra stripes and leopard spots in vibrant, unpredictable shades. If you find yourself tilting your head to one side when you take a look through the collection, here's why: almost every single look was asymmetrical in some way. Hems dipped to one side but not the other. Patterns were stubbornly mismatched. The models even wore two different colours of nail polish on each hand.
