Prada Pays Tribute To Shell Necklaces & Wes Anderson @ FW17 Show

Fully sick.

Prada just presented one helluva Fall 2017 men's and women's show featuring shout outs to all your favourite things. The show championed the humble shell necklace (a staple of your former surf brand-obsessed self) and the colour brown, with a very Wes Anderson vibe running throughout the collection.

The presentation went to a more abstract place than Prada's recent hiking-inspired offerings, trading in futuristic fashions for a 2017 take on the 70s. Furry accessories and painterly prints brought a rebellious undercurrent to classic corduroy suits and prim cardigans — Miuccia Prada's way of representing the politically turbulent nature of the 70s. The set was also all about breaking down the idea of domestic bliss, with clinical beds lit up around the concrete space.

The detailed and slightly wrong range sees Prada move into playful new territory and we're keen to come with.
