Premiere: Aussie Sibling Duo Lastlings' Dreamy New Track 'Chills'
Lastlings is an Australian duo composed of siblings Josh and Amy Dowdle from the sunny GC. While most of us were fulfilling our sibling-hang quota back in the day fighting over the remote and pretending not to know each other in public, they were busy making dreamy/soundscape-y music together. Sibling goals!
Their latest aptly named track 'Chills' is some super fairy-tale pop for your Thursday afternoon. From its swelling synths all the way down to Amy's angelic voice coalescing in the background, it will legit give you chills. We're super excited to premiere it; so much so that we took the chance to ask them a bunch of highly important questions that revealed just how bloody cute the two of them are. Names: Josh and Amy.
J: I call Amy "Niblet", and she calls me "Twibs". Lol.
What were you into in high school?
A: I'm still in high school *cries*, but RN I'm into fashion and emojis.
J: I did hell subjects so it was hard to be into anything other than study. Although, I did get into playing guitar and music more in year 12 thanks to one of my best friends.
In what ways have you changed since then?
A: I'll let you know when I'm done.
J: I've diversified the music I listen to since then and also have a much better haircut. It was pretty terrible in year eight — I legit looked like a Pokemon.
