Saint Laurent Passive Aggressively Deletes All Memories Of Hedi Slimane

Ooh burn.
Last week it was announced that Hedi Slimane would not be renewing his contract as creative director of Saint Laurent. Within a few days, the position was filled by Anthony Vaccarello.
A subtle burn was detected in a statement from Saint Laurent and François-Henri Pinault, when the label was referred to as Yves Saint Laurent (it was Hedi's call to remove the "Yves")… "What Yves Saint Laurent has achieved over the past four years represents a unique chapter in the history of the house," François-Henri said. "I am very grateful to Hedi Slimane, and the whole Yves Saint Laurent team, for having set the path that the house has successfully embraced, and which will grant longevity to this legendary brand."
Now a greater burn has been achieved, scalding would be an understatement. The YSL Instagram account has literally banished all memories of Hedi into the either. They've deleted every single post, and uploaded a pic of Anthony Vaccarello. So rough.
