Salvador Dali's Cooked Cookbook Is Getting Reissued

What do you call that, darl?

Surrealist legend Salvador Dali made an extremely cooked cookbook back in his day and it's about to go back on the market. Les Diners de Gala was originally published in 1973 and it has all the charm of a trutsy old Women's Weekly cookbook and all the wackness of a classic Dali artwork.

The literally off chops book includes chapter names like "Prime Lilliputian malaises" (meat) and "Deoxyribonucleic Atavism" (vegetables) and recipes like "Bush of crayfish in Viking herbs" (fisherman's basket) and "Toffee with Pine Cones" (not a thing).

The visually sick book will make you rethink your approach to eating life, as well as provide concrete evidence that food is legit art. Feel a weird kind of hunger via the preview above.

New Les Diners de Gala copies will be out through Taschen on November 20 and they're going to go like hotcakes!
