Sarah Silverman Thinks Sexism Is Sh**ty [Watch]

Ask for more.

Comedy legend Sarah Silverman got her serious on in a video designed to promote awareness around the wage gap. The clip was released though Levo, a website dedicated to promoting young women's career growth by confronting issues they face in the workplace.

Sarah opens by talking about a gig that she did with Todd Barry at the New York Comedy Club where she got paid $10 and he got paid $60. "We did the exact same time back-to-back at the same show," she said. "It's pretty shitty."

She went on to say that her tweets about women's rights get the most violent hate tweets back, which she accurately describes as straight up bizarre.

"I'm all for women having to work harder to prove themselves at this juncture, if that's the way it is in the world. But if you work a job, and a man is working the same job, you should be getting paid the same." Real talk.

This is definitely the least funny we've ever seen Sarah, but her commentary is as on point as ever (and her very cute dog appears at the 4-minute mark).
FYI National Equal Pay Day is happening on April 14 if you were planning to ask for that raise.
