Supreme x COMME des GARÇONS

A collab to celebrate Supreme's new Tokyo store that opens today.

Today in Tokyo, London retailer Dover Street Market opens its doors. To celebrate the launch of the store (which stocks Givenchy, Lanvin, YSL and more) New York streetwear label Supreme has teamed up with quintessential Japanese designer Comme des Garçons for an exclusive capsule collection (also see the Comme Coke cans from yesterday!). Comme’s shirting fabric meets Supreme’s famous five panel snapbacks, button-down shirts and two styles of Vans (Authentic and the SK8-Hi), while the iconic polka-dot patterns appear on hoodies and t-shirts. The Supreme logo is also mirrored. The Vans will be available in mid-June, but the rest of the capsule is on sale now at the new Dover Street Market store, and will also shortly be available at Supreme’s other Japanese outlets, as well as Supreme New York, LA, London and online. Two Japanese publications, Sense and Honeyee, have shot interpretations of the product, enlisting pro skaters – Jason Dill and Lucien Clarke, respectively. See Sense below:
