This Is What The Cast Of 'Twin Peaks' Look Like Now

It's like I'm having the most beautiful dream and the most terrible nightmare all at once.

The cast of Twin Peaks has reunited (kind of) in a video call-out to David Lynch, who recently announced he would not be helming the show's revival. The heartbreaking video — heartbreaking because Twin Peaks without David Lynch ain't right, and also because the cast are so old now — features some of the show's most iconic characters beseeching David to return. Even Oprah has gotten on board (thanks to someone's mad Photoshop skillz).

Laura Palmer, Bobby Briggs, Audrey Horne, Shelly Johnson, Norma Jennings, James Marshall, Lucy, The Log Lady, Nadine, Bob (!!) and David's daughter, Jennifer Lynch, finish the sentence, "Twin Peaks without David Lynch is like…" Some strong statements come from Nadine and Lucy who say: "A drape runner without cotton balls," and "a sheriff's station without doughnuts," respectively.

This video was released on the exact day that the first episode of Twin Peaks aired 25 years ago. Spooky.

The only pivotal cast member not to appear was Agent Dale Cooper, who confirmed he would be returning to the show earlier this year. Other shocking revelations were that Bobby Briggs has grey hair, Audrey Horne has a cute kid and Lucy was not sporting a perm or an outrageous knit.

We really hope David Lynch's heart is melting right now, because ours is.
