Top 5: Potential Batmans

Christian Bale is Batman no more. After hearing the news that the Oscar winner will not be reprising his role as the Dark Knight nor will Christopher Nolan be directing any future Batman films beyond the third in his trilogy (due for a July 2012 release) we have decided to speculate wildly on who will step up as Batman for the next generation.
So far, we've had Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney and, of course, Mr. Bale. Who will be next? What exactly makes a Batman? Height, good looks and capacity for brooding seem to be the three key attributes, so let's start from there.
1. Ryan Gosling
Propensity for brooding: 8/10
Yeah yeah, we gave him top spot on our list of top 5 potential Bond villains. And the entire Internet has been stricken with Gosling fever and he's all you ever hear about these days. But beyond all of this obviousness and predictability there is - as if we have to remind you - one very handsome, very charismatic, very well-built and very talented actor who is absolutely capable not only of playing such a classic character but also of making it his own.
