Watch: Madonna x Steven Klein Film 'Secret Project Revolution'

17 minutes of gothic drama. Freedom of expression FTW.

55-year old Madonna has revealed 'Secret Project Revolution', a film that was made as part of their #ArtforFreedom — a global initiative that seeks to augment freedom of expression, basically.

Directed by her long-time pal, Steven Klein, the film launches with the Jean-Luc Godard quote, "All you need for a movie is a gun and a girl" before foraying into a seductive 17-minute gothic drama. Shot wholly in black-and-white, the film fixates on themes of imprisonment, government, persecution and oppression. At one point Madonna is thrown in jail by "fascist dictators posing as righteous men".  She also plays with guns, alludes to a penchant for S&M and showcases most, but not all, of her butt.

"My goal is to show by the example of secret project revolution my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression," Madge told Metro UK, adding "I hope my film and other submissions to Art for Freedom will be a call to action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency."
